At the subsequent conference, Professor Liu Jianguo, co-founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Xingran Technology, focused on the market prospects of the hydrogen energy industry as well as Xingran Technology’s cost-reduction strategies for PEM hydrogen production equipment. “Although PEM electrolyzers have already reached a relatively mature stage of application in overseas markets, in China they are now at a critical juncture for large-scale deployment,” explained Professor Liu. “As one of only a handful of domestic companies capable of mass-producing megawatt-scale PEM electrolyzers, Xingran Technology enjoys a significant competitive edge. Through technological cost reductions and economies of scale, the cost of our PEM hydrogen production equipment is 35% to 40% lower than the industry average, laying a solid technological foundation for achieving grid-parity green hydrogen.” Professor Liu also emphasized that Xingran Technology has already established a joint laboratory with North China Electric Power University and expressed its hope to further deepen and broaden its integrated industry-academia-research cooperation with the Xixian New Area.

Jia Yinghong and Xie Chenxing, representatives of Yingfeng Fund, expressed an optimistic outlook on the hydrogen energy industry. Jia Yinghong believes that “the hydrogen ship has already sailed through countless mountains,” and the hydrogen energy sector is now poised to embrace a period of robust growth. Xie Chenxing shared the process of negotiating with Xingran for investment, noting that they had conducted a detailed study of the Xingran project over a period of about six months and highly praised Xingran Technology’s innovative capabilities and development potential. As a company specializing in hydrogen energy investments, Yingfeng Fund, backed by the strong industrial foundation of Midea Group, has established a leading position in the field of intelligent manufacturing and can bring strategic value to Xingran Technology.
Yang Su, Director of the Qin Chuangyuan Innovation Promotion Center, introduced the current development status and future plans for the Xixian New Area and its hydrogen energy industry cluster. He stated that through the attraction of industrial funds and the establishment of a strategic industrial layout, they have achieved significant results. He expressed gratitude for the support provided by Yingfeng Fund Company. At the same time, he emphasized the pivotal role played by the collaboration model between Mr. Yang, CEO of Xingran Technology, and Professor Liu in driving regional development, which has successfully integrated “scientists + engineers” and “innovation chain + industrial chain” into a seamless synergy.
Secretary Xue Feng of Jinghe New City emphasized the local government’s support for the hydrogen energy industry. As the only hydrogen energy industry-recognized park in Shaanxi Province, Jinghe New City has formulated a series of supportive policies focused on the hydrogen energy sector. To date, it has attracted and nurtured more than 40 hydrogen energy enterprises, creating a comprehensive industrial ecosystem that encompasses R&D and manufacturing clusters covering the entire value chain—from hydrogen production and storage to transportation, refueling, and utilization.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Yang Renhua, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Xixian New Area, expressed full appreciation for this hydrogen energy project. He stated that the investment demonstrates foresight, the attraction of businesses reflects genuine sincerity, and the area’s capacity for hosting such projects is robust. The Xixian New Area has already established a relatively complete hydrogen energy industrial chain, boasts abundant talent resources, and offers an excellent business environment. Together, we will focus on the cutting edge of technological and industrial development, tailor our approach to local conditions, foster new forms of productive forces, accelerate the early implementation of this project, and expedite the construction of the Qin Chuangyuan Hydrogen Energy Industry Innovation Cluster.
This visit not only deepened all parties’ understanding of Xingran Technology’s technological strengths and the development potential of the hydrogen energy industry, but also laid a solid foundation for future cooperation. Through face-to-face exchanges and communication, mutual understanding and trust have been further enhanced, enabling us to jointly promote innovation and breakthroughs in hydrogen energy technology and contribute our part to the rapid development of the hydrogen energy industry.
